Decoration Description:

In tondo: a satyr is trying to sit on a pointed amphora. The satyr is naked except for an ivy wreath and an ankle cord, and has an erect phallos. He thrusts his bearded head forward with eager eyes, and his tail curls behind his left leg. His forehead is wrinkled, brown lines model the cheek, and there is a brown line between eye and eyebrow. He sits on a pointed amphora, and will balance on it and kick about. Inscriptions: on left, *L*E*A*G*R*O*S *K*A*L*O*S; on right, *A*Q*E*N*O*D*O*T*O*S *K*A*L*O*S, and on the amphora, *K*A*L*O*S, perhaps referring to the satyr.

Inscriptions:

Left: *L*E*A*G*R*O*S *K*A*L*O*S ("Leagros is beautiful"). Right: *A*Q*E*N*O*D*O*T*O*S *K*A*L*O*S ("Athenodotos is beautiful"), and on the amphora, *K*A*L*O*S ("[He is] beautiful"), perhaps referring to the satyr.
